Elisra Group, AUVSI Exhibition: Tadiran Electronic Systems, a member of the Elisra Group, announced that it successfully completed operational field tests with its Skyfix airborne COMINT/DF system, integrated on UAVs.

The Skyfix is a compact, low-weight and low-power consumption COMINT/DF system, offering an advanced solution for superior real-time monitoring and direction finding.

Deployed aboard manned or unmanned aerial platforms and operating across a wide bandwidth, the Skyfix payload provides field deployed forces with fast and accurate signal scanning, recording and analysis capabilities. The system pinpoints radio emitters and displays their coordinates on digital maps at the Skyfix ground station.

The system software includes sophisticated algorithms, design to filter out and extract relevant information for transmission to task force members, whereby Skyfix does away with the clutter that pervades other COMINT systems. Company officials claim Skyfix to be the most effective signal monitoring system currently available. Integrated with Elisra's Spectrolite (AES-210V) ELINT ESM system, Skyfix enables effectively covering the entire SIGINT domain.

The Elisra Group comprises Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd., Tadiran Electronic Systems Ltd. and Tadiran Spectralink Ltd. The Group designs, develops, manufactures, integrates and supports advanced system solutions for air, sea and land deployed in over 25 countries. The Elisra Group is a 70% subsidiary of Elbit Systems.
