Patria is taking part in the international defense and security industry’s International Defense Exhibition and Conference IDEX being held in the United Arab Emirates on 20–24 February. This year, Abu Dhabi is hosting the 10th IDEX exhibition, one of the industry’s largest events globally. The venue is the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Visitors to the exhibition can see, among other advanced solutions, the Patria AMV armored wheeled vehicle, Patria Nemo mortar systems and Patria’s ARIS, Advanced Real-Time Intelligence System.

Patria’s display is on exhibition lot A33, in ADNEC Hall 6. The Patria AMV armoured vehicle is also being exhibited on outdoor lot CP-302.

Orders for the Patria AMV armored vehicle exceed 1,400

Patria is a leading supplier of modern armored wheeled vehicles. The Patria AMV combines high payload capacity with the latest technology. These features enable the simultaneous integration of a high level of protection and heavy weapon systems without compromising the mobility of the vehicle.

The Patria AMV has been developed to provide optimal modularity of components and to be adaptable for a wide range of versions without changes in basic vehicle systems. Versions are based on four hull models. Already, Patria holds contracts for approximately 1,400 vehicles – to Finland, Poland, and now also Sweden.

Patria Nemo offers speed and efficiency in fire missions

Patria is the global market leader in turreted mortar systems. The Patria Nemo provides both direct and indirect fire support offering high firepower. Furthermore, this single‑barrel remote-controlled 120 mm mortar turret system features, for example, excellent signature management and ballistic protection. Also, its low weight makes the system adaptable to various vehicle and vessel types. The Patria Nemo has been proven in its selection by the Slovenian Armed Forces and the United Arab Emirates Navy. Moreover, the system has been chosen as a mortar system to be included in the United Stated Foreign Military Sales (FMS) project.

ARIS – Advanced Real-Time Intelligence System for ELINT

Patria’s ARIS (Advanced Real-Time Intelligence System) is a world class ELINT receiver. ARIS can detect, measure, record and visualize modern LPI radar waveforms in wide real time bandwidth with its sophisticated signal processing and innovative 3-D user interface. The user interface connects to the receiver via network and adapts to different bandwidth allowing Patria ARIS to be remote operable. Patria ARIS is a perfect choice for mobile or fixed ELINT stations and updating legacy systems.

Patria is a globally operating defence, security, and aviation group providing customers with competitive solutions based on strong expertise and collaboration with trusted partners. Patria is owned by the State of Finland (73.2%) and the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS N.V.) (26.8%).
