, MUNICH, Germany: A flying experimental vehicle that allows systems that are already in development to be tested under operational conditions – this dream of many development engineers – has now become reality thanks to an ESG Elektroniksystem und Logistik GmbH. After an almost three-year development period, the mission equipment carrier (MAT) was transferred to the German Bundeswehr today. In the next few weeks, the behaviour and reliability of the first helicopter components will be tested using the MAT.
