Radio Netherlands, Dutch Foreign Minister Ben Bot has told parliament that the Netherlands could refuse to take part in future military missions if the United States continues to be evasive about reports of secret CIA prisons.
He said the US should stop playing hide-and-seek since the facts are bound to come out sooner or later. The Dutch foreign minister described US actions in the fight against terrorism as pushing the limits.
On Wednesday, Mr Bot asked for guarantees that prisoners in Afghanistan would be treated humanely. The Netherlands has been asked to contribute 1,000 troops to an anti-Taliban operation in Afghanistan's Uruzgan province.
