Xinhua, The 5th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (CIAAE) is scheduled to be held from Nov. 1 to Nov. 7 in Zhuhai, southern China's Guangdong province, the organizing committee announced Friday at a press conference.

According to the organizing committee, the return capsule of the “Shenzhou V,” the first manned spacecraft of China will be displayed in the exhibition.

A couple of aerial acrobatics teams, including the “Swifts” of Russian Air force, “Golden Dream” and UBB from Britain, the ” Patrols” from France and the “August 1st” of Chinese Air Force, were expected to show in flying display.

Begun in 1996, the CIAAE has become a large scale international exhibition of products, and a forum for trade talks, technological exchange and flying display.

The 5th CIAAE will present the new achievements China has attained in the aviation and aerospace field and further promote the communication and cooperation between China's aviation industry and other countries, a Chinese official said.

According to the organizing committee, 32 countries and regions will attend the exhibition, and this will exceed the attendance at previous exhibitions.

More than 10 well-known international aviation and aerospace enterprises will attend the exhibition such as Boeing, Airbus and GE.

Besides the International Airport Exhibition, the 5th CIAAE will also hold a series of affiliated activities such as the Aviation and Aerospace Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition and the Second China International Aviation and Aerospace Summit.
