, A government report shows 26 incidents of possible mistreatment at the Guantanamo Bay military prison in Cuba.

Documents issued Tuesday by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation offer new details about the alleged harsh interrogation practices of enemy combatants by the U.S. military.

The report, issued as part of an ongoing lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union, indicates new and separate allegations of the mistreatment of detainees at the American military prison.

The incidents described in the report include a guard squatting over the Koran, an interrogator dressed as a Roman Catholic priest “baptizing” a prisoner, and female guards using sexually suggestive tactics.

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman says the report is not new, and the Pentagon has already thoroughly investigated the allegations and taken disciplinary action where appropriate.

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said Wednesday it is U.S. policy to treat detainees humanely with dignity and respect.
