MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd, RICHMOND, BC: MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary – Triathlon Ltd. – signed a contract with General Headquarters of United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Armed Forces to deliver an information solution consisting of high-resolution digital mapping models of the UAE terrain.
The UAE Military Survey Department is upgrading its base mapping information of the entire area of United Arab Emirates. The updated mapping information set will consist of high-resolution maps and terrain models delivered in a digital form.
“Our Company has been selected as one of a few international geospatial information companies to execute the UAE mapping project.” said Don Smith, Operations Director. “This contract represents another successful customer relationship in our international business development strategy”.
