A suspected Tamil Tiger suicide bomber attacked a military bus in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Thursday, killing two soldiers and wounding five others, police and hospital sources said.
The bus was attacked just outside the capital's port, police said, adding that they believed a Tiger suicide bomber had carried out the attack.
“It is likely that the man rammed an explosives-packed motorcycle against the army bus,” a police official said.
Hospital sources said that two soldiers were dead on arrival, while five more were wounded in the blast.
