Thales UK, With the Defence Systems and Equipment international bringing together many of the world's largest defence suppliers and their customers from September 13th to 16th, Thales UK has announced the focus for its large scale presence at the Docklands Excel Centre.

The firm's “Transforming the Battlespace” concept will highlight Thales UK's strengths and position as Britain's market leader in defence and security. Specifically the stand will focus on Thales UK's ability to deliver integrated capability, from systems and equipment to systems integration, prime contracting and comprehensive support services. Thales UK's airborne systems, land systems, maritime systems and large-scale security solutions will all be demonstrated across the stand's six zones.

Visitors will be provided with an overall picture of various operational scenarios, while the MoD commissioned Watchkeeper 450 will be displayed above the area.

In the Maritime Systems zone the Aircraft Carrier design for the UK CVF programme will be on display. The Royal Navy future aircraft carriers project (CVF) will see the development and construction of two 60,000-tonne future aircraft carriers that will ultimately replace the UK's three existing aircraft carriers, the 20,000-tonne Invincible-class warships, over the next decade.
