Lockheed Martin, DALLAS: Lockheed Martin recently completed its third consecutive successful test of a new upgraded guidance and control system in conjunction with an improved fuze of the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
The test successfully validated the new guidance upgrade and its interaction with an improved fuze which will be incorporated in the 2005 production line of ATACMS Block 1A Unitary missiles. The missile achieved all test objectives. defencetalk.com
