PTI, Jodhpur: Major Surendra Singh and Col KD Singh, allegedly involved in a fake encounter at Siachen, will give their 'summary evidence' today in Jodhpur before a military court.
After the completion of the court of inquiry, the army will record evidence against those found guilty by the court of inquiry.
All proceedings will be recorded on camera. The trial was shifted to the Defence Area after Major Singh had filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, to move the case out of J&K, where he would get a better chance of defending himself.
Officers of the Gorkha regiment allegedly faked the killings of Pakistani soldiers and destroyed enemy bunkers at the Siachen glacier in August 2003, and provided video recordings of it, to win medals.
