BURLINGTON: L-3 Communications WESCAM, a wholly owned subsidiary of L-3 Communications, announced today that it has been selected by Boeing to provide the MX-15 electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) imaging turrets to the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) for the CH-47F (NL) Chinook helicopter fleet.
WESCAM recently received authorization to proceed (ATP) from Boeing for the production preparation agreement (PPA) phase for the Royal Netherlands Air Force acquisition of CH-47F (NL) aircraft. The PPA agreement provides for planning and long-lead activities that will support the production of new Netherlands Ministry of Defense CH-47F (NL) helicopters.
