Dallas TX: Lockheed Martin received a $51.6 million contract modification to provide 18 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems to the U.S. Marine Corps. The contract modification was an option in the U.S. Army's HIMARS full-rate production contract award to Lockheed Martin in December 2005.
Work on the contract will be performed at the company's facilities in Camden, AR, and Grand Prairie, TX, and is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2008.
