Kashmir Media Service, SRINAGAR, IHK: Oct 12 (PNS) – In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has thoroughly exposed the recent grotesque drama staged at Gurez in Baramullah district, by Indian military authorities before Delhi based military attaches from over 15 countries.
The drama was played to implicate Pakistan in cross LoC infiltration. On 29th September, the envoys were taken to the area where the alleged 15 infiltrators were claimed to have been killed.
APHC spokesman, in a statement in Srinagar Saturday, made it clear that the 15 victims whose dead bodies were displayed to the military attaches as so-called infiltrators were infact Kashmiris abducted by Indian troops for bonded labour and later shot dead in fake encounter.
Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yousaf Mir, in an interview with Kashmir Media Service, this afternoon, said, the residents of the village have confirmed that at least 12 of 15 killed were local residents and the rest were arrested from some other places in IHK and brought to the area. The statement said that the envoys found the AK-47 rifles non-functional, which were produced by military authorities with the claim that these were recovered from those killed. The military authorities could not give to them any convincing explanation in this regard.
The APHC leader said, this crude drama was aimed at defaming Kashmir liberation movement and Pakistan besides covering the stepped up Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.
