Canada's New C-17 Globemaster Comes Home For the First Time!
People were out in force to watch our new baby. The controller said it well – "Welcome Home." Bonus feature: one of the old Russian jets took off just before the C-17 came in (comments for what it was, anyone?) It was a nice moment- out with the old and in with the NEW! FYI, the jet came from the Abbotsford Air Show, and immediately prior, the factory in Long Beach, CA. They even had it stuffed with The Brass around the full load of spare parts! The flight number was CANFORCE 3600, tail number 177701. Blessings everybody!
