Korea Overseas Information Service, Lt. Gen. Kim Sung-il, chief of the South Korean Air Force, will leave Seoul on Thursday (Nov. 17) to attend the ninth Dubai Air Show in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
Kim, 57, will introduce the country's supersonic jet trainer T-50 during the biennial international aerospace exhibition in Dubai, according to the ministry.
Kim is also scheduled to attend the Middle East Air Chiefs Conference during his five-day trip. He will discuss ways to enhance cooperation with air force chiefs from some 15 countries, including the United Kingdom, France and Saudi Arabia, it said.
