Russian armed forces have disposed of a 500 kilos air bomb of the World War II period found in Moscow suburbs.
The FAB 500 Soviet bomb was found in a park in Moscow northern district late Saturday, a source in the law enforcement agencies told Interfax.
Special risk forces of the Emergencies Ministry rushed to the site where engineers found the rust-covered bomb without the warhead and underbody.
The bomb that was still dangerous was dug out of the earth and with precautions taken to the shooting ground to be disposed of.
