, HAIFA, Israel: Elbit Systems delivered two upgraded Mi17 helicopters to the Macedonian Minister of Defense and its Air Force Commander in a ceremony held at Skopje, Macedonia air base.
Elbit Systems has upgraded and delivered to date 6 out of 10 helicopters included in the contract, 6 month prior to the stipulated delivery date.
The helicopters are scheduled for immediate deployment and integration in European Union and NATO missions.
The helicopters were upgraded in various specifications according to the requirements of the Macedonian customer.
