Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker climbs to 10000' in 54 seconds
The world's first civilian-registered Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker jet, N131SU, takes off and climbs to 10000 feet MSL (Mean Sea Level). The time from liftoff to level-off was 54 seconds. It should be noted that with continuous afterburner, not restricted by regulatory speed restictions, and not intending to level off at 10000', this aircraft could have reached the 10000' mark in approximately 15-20 seconds.
