RC F-15 Eagle by Freewing from Hobby-Lobby, maiden flight and fan blow out
This is the maiden flight of my Freewing F-15, purchased from Hobby Lobby as an ARF. Modifications include repainted dark brown and medium grey, enlongated battery bay (toward the rear), internal intakes to cool the ESC, and magnet mounted bombs and nose cone. This plane is flying on the stock setup, which included a 4 cell, 20C, 2200mah battery, 45Amp ESC and 64mm EDF unit. It sucked in a rock or clump of dirt on the second take off, blowing out all of the fan blades. I'm looking forward to getting it repaired and back in the sky as it handled very well and was a lot of fun to fly.
