I just suggested the Falcon 2000 Albatros as a cheaper alternative for the P-8 or A321XLR, instead of turboprops like the CN235. Choosing for the Bombardier means again a new aircraft type from a new supplier.

I wonder why Dassault doesn't offer an MP/MR version of the Falcon 7X/8X.

I think Dassault doesn't want to spend a lot of money to develop it with no customer.

Yes, maybe the Aéronautique Navale financially supported the development of the Falcon 2000 Albatros.
