“Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant”, JSC takes part in MAKS-2009 air show. UUAP is a part of helicopter holding company headed by Russian Helicopters JSC.
The plant as well as other enterprises of helicopter industry takes part in the show under the aegis of the managing company. The joint stand of helicopter industry enterprises occupies 550 square meters. This is the largest stand for Russian helicopter industry enterprises in all their history of participation in air shows and exhibitions. The exposition of the enterprises will be located in C3 (B) pavilion.
The models of the helicopters produced by the enterprises of the holding partnership will be exhibited at the stand. UUAP will present the model of Mi-171Sh combat-transport helicopter. The informative and video materials about plant’s products will be offered for the consideration of viewers: Mi-171 multifunctional helicopters, Mi-171 helicopters in VIP-version, Mi-171Sh combat-transport helicopters. “AeroTaxi – Service” company within the exposition of “Russian Helicopters” will dispose the mockup of VIP-cabin imitating the cabin of Mi-171 VIP helicopter produced by UUAP.
It is planned to arrange an individual exposition devoting to the 70-year anniversary of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant.
Mi-171 multifunctional helicopter produced by UUAP will be presented on MAKS-2009 air show’s static parking area. The helicopter is equipped with a variety of special equipment including FLIR-system, searchlight, modern flight and navigation equipment, which are adapted for operating at night conditions, rappelling device, hoist, broadcasting station.
The helicopter is operated by Russian Federal Customs Service, which was the customer of helicopters made by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant since 2006. The aircraft can be operated during day and night time for patrolling and searching, detection and recognition of objects, transportation and troops’ landing, cargo and passengers’ transportation, SAR missions.
Much attention of experts and spectators may be attracted by another exhibited at the air show helicopter manufactured at “Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant”. It is Mi-171 helicopter in VIP-version, which is operated by “RusJet” air company. The helicopter is designed to provide all conditions for work and rest of 9 passengers. The VIP-cabin has comfortable armchairs and sofas, folding tables. The VIP interior is furnished by high quality materials including genuine leather, veneer sheet of fine wood. The cabin is equipped with satellite communication system and system of multimedia entertainment (including audio and video systems). Mi-171 helicopter in VIP version also has air conditioning system, buffet, wardrobe, luggage compartment and lavatory. There are left and rear entrance stairs for passenger loading.
