Last month a spokesman for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced the decision to introduce new protection systems for its M113 fleet.
The IDF choose A.O.B.'s solution for its heavy armored vehicles, which will be introduced during 2004. With this solution the M113A1 and M113A2 will reach the maximum combat weight of 15 tons.
