Mathaba, The United States and India are set to sign an agreement to share classified military research.
Under existing arrangements, the two nations can carry out joint military exercises and arms purchases. The new agreement will let defence labs exchange scientists and information.
The draft agreement was finalised at a meeting in New Delhi last month between India's Defence Research and Development Organisation and a 15-member delegation of US defence scientists. It now awaits signatures from top officials from both nations.
