Global Safety Labs, Inc,

TULSA: Michael H. Freeman, CEO/COO of Global Safety Labs, Inc. (“GSL”), a Tulsa-based safety products development and manufacturing company announced that it will be demonstrating the World's Most Fire-Proof HMMWV at the Tulsa Fire Department Training Center today. This is the same Fire-Proofing Systems that have been demonstrated to numerous Military Commands in the last 30 days.

“The fate of the 3 missing GIs is on all our hearts and minds,” Mr. Freeman acknowledged. “While the exact circumstances of that incident are not fully known, our Fire-Proofing Vehicle Systems can help in the future to avoid instances where GIs must abandon the safety of an armored vehicle because the tires, hydraulic or fuel tanks caught fire,” Mr. Freeman stated.

“Military leaders have responded quickly to GSL's patented Automatic Vehicle Fire Extinguishment & Survivability System (“AVFESS”),” Mr. Freeman said. “At the Military's request, just since April, we have demonstrated the AVFESS Systems at the Pentagon, at Tank Automotive Command (TACOM), to the Marine Warfighting Labs at Quantico to the Air Force Battlelabs, NASA and to NATO (at the U.S. Navy's request).”

Credited with Seven (7) life saves in the Steel Industry, where the vehicle/operator systems have been in use for several years, the patented vehicle spray system extinguishes both external and internal vehicle fires, protects occupants and coats tires to prevent re-ignition. GSL Executive VP and Military Liaison, Brig. Gen. Richard C. Freeman, (U.S. A.F. Ret.) stated, “With the AVFESS, not only is the fire extinguished, but a Warfighters' clothing and skin are protected from blazing fires for up to several minutes, giving them critical time to assess the situation and react.”

Military sources briefing GSL advised that Iraqi Insurgents and Al Qaeda fighters have begun using fires as a tactic to attempt to penetrate up-armored HMMWVs — targeting vulnerable fuel tanks and tires. Mike Freeman announced that GSL is working on TACOM Engineering approvals in order to fulfill request for AVFESS installations already requested.

The GSL “Fire-Proofed” HMMWV includes five (5) different Vehicle/Warfighter fire protection and extinguishment systems. The AVFESS includes spraying GSL's proprietary Arctic Fire-Freeze(TM) (AFF(TM)) Agent on both the interior and exterior of the HMMWV stopping the fire and providing a fire-proof coating. The AFF has a unique ability to shield human skin, equipment and clothing from direct exposure to fire, heat and flame.
