, FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany: EADS Defence & Security Systems has handed over the first Digital Map Generator System (DMGS) for the A400M military transport aircraft to Airbus. This consignment was the first step in the delivery of a total of 192 systems. A further twelve Digital Map Generator Systems are planned for the transport aircraft ordered by South Africa.
