US Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,510,278 time and materials contract to provide for modification of 18 Dutch F-16 aircraft to Chile MLU configurations.
This work involves the removal of Strike and HARM capability by direction of SAF/IA in order to comply with Chile foreign disclosure limitations.
At this time, $4,400,000 has been obligated. This work will be complete by November 2006.
