List of Iranian entities or individuals that could face UN sanctions

UNITED NATIONS: The following is a list of Iranian entities or individuals that could have their assets frozen or be subjected to a travel ban under proposed UN Security Council sanctions.

The list is contained in an annex to the draft resolution drawn up by France, Britain and Germany that would mandate nuclear and ballistic missile related sanctions against Tehran for refusing to halt uranium enrichment.

PERSONS INVOLVED IN IRAN'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM

– Mohammad Qannadi, AEOI (Atomic Energy Orgaization of Iran) vice-president for research and development

– Behman Asgarpour, Operational manager (at the heavy-water reactor Iran is building in Arak)

– Dawood Agha-Jani, head of the PFEP (Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant in Natanz)

– Ehsan Monajemi, construction project manager (Natanz)

– Jafar Mohammadi, technical advisor to the AEOI (in charge of managing the production of valves for centrifuges)

– Ali Hajinla Leilabadi, director general of Mesbah Energy Company)

– Lt General Mohammad Mehdi Nejad Nouri, rector of Malek Ashtar University of defense technology (chemistry department, has conducted experiments on beryllium)

PERSONS INVOLVED IN THE BALLISTIC MISSILE PROGRAM

– General Hosein Salimi, commander of the air force, Iranian Revolutionary Gaurds (IRGC or Pasdaran)

– Ahmad Vahid Dastjerdi, head of the AIO (Aerospace Industries Organization, the leading industrial and military subsidiary of the Iranian ministry of defense and the ministry of armed forces logistics)

– Reza-Gholi Esmaeli, head of trade and international affairs department at AIO

– Bahmanyar Morteza Bahmanyar, head of finance and budget department at AIO

PERSONS INVOLVED IN BOTH THE NUCLEAR and BALLISTIC MISSILE PROGRAMS

– major general Yahya Rahim Safavi, commander IRGC (Pasdaran)

ENTITIES INVOLVED IN THE NUCLEAR PROGRAMME

– Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran

– Mesbah Energy company (provider for A40 research reactor in Arak)

– Kala-Electric (aka Kalaye Electric) (provider for PFEP Natanz)

– Pars Trash Co. (centrifuge program)

– Farayand Technique (centrifuge program)

– Defense industries organisation

– 7th of Tir, subordinate for the Defense Industries Organization

ENTITIES INVOLVED IN THE BALLISTIC MISSILE PROGRAM

– Aerospace Industries Organisation

– Shahid Hemmat industrial Group (SHIG subordinate entity of AIO)

– Shahid Bagheri Industrial group (SBIG subordinate entity of AIO)

– Fajr Industrial Group (subordinate entity of AIO)
