Persian Gulf (Jan. 11, 2006) - An F-14 Tomcat flies over the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during flight operations. Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are currently underway on a regularly scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations.
