Persian Gulf (Jan. 7, 2006) - An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Golden Warriors" of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven (VFA-87) and an F-14D Tomcat assigned to the "Tomcatters" of Fighter Squadron Three one (VF-31) prepare for launch during flight operations aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
