Bright Star Exercise 2005 - HH-60H Seahawk

Mediterranean Sea (Sept. 17, 2005) - Aviation Machinist's Mate 1st Class Gary McGrath observes Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Michael Fjell perform a Rescue Swimmer Search and Recovery (SAR) jump from a HH-60H Seahawk, during a cast and recovery training mission off the coast of Egypt. McGrath and Fjell are crew members assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21 (HSC-21), Detachment Eight currently deployed aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA1). Tarawa, the flagship for Expeditionary Strike Group One (ESG-1), is currently operating off the coast of Egypt in the Mediterranean Sea in support of Exercise Bright Star 2005.
