@t68 Politics you've been around here long enough to know how twitchy that makes the Moderators. Although I agree one Canuck poster will be dancing with joy. The mental images I can do without though. No pudding for you tonight.

Sorry can't help to comment on Political matters but this could be interesting if we see like this:
2015, Canadian bring a Liberal to office and a year latter south to the border Americans bring conservative to the office.

Will it repeat again ? 2019, Canadian kick the liberals from the office and put Conservative..while a year latter Americans kick the conservative and bring the liberals in..

I wonder will it be Canadians and Americans shifting political taste on opposite direction, once more ?

An interesting hypothesis indeed. Mind you the Americans wouldn't be in this position if they hadn't committed treason and rebelled against their lawful Sovereign all those years ago. I suppose Her Majesty, by the Grace of God, Queen Elizabeth II, might consider accepting them back as her subjects. :D

How do we know that? All we have to go on are media reports none of which can claim have Her Majesty as the source. Basically it's all innuendo and the media never letting things such as facts and truth get in the way of a story.

Certainly possible, a more liberal US in 2020 and an end to junior in Oct 2019. However, a Canadian conservative is much more liberal than the US version so US Democrats and Canadian Conservatives should find more commonality than what we have now.

It will all depend on who gets through the Democratic Primaries in the US Presidential elections. It if is a Centrist like Joe Biden with Obama and likely big donor backing then on a head to head against Trump could see Biden take it as he has greater appeal to independents, the traditional democrat blue collar vote (many of whom went to Trump in the rust belt as they could not stomach Hilary) as opposed to the urban progressives and the finally the old school moderate East Coast Republican wing (who loath Trump). However, if it is a hard left-progressive candidate like Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren who will only appeal to the activist echo-chamber base, Trump will get back in. Early polling has Biden ahead in the key early Primaries/Caucuses of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada. These northeast - midwest - south & west are a good temperature of how one will fair.

There is a lot to be said for competency, experience and credibility in the US Presidency .... would be great to see it back ... and those attributes back in Canada and NZ for that matter. ;)

....but wouldn’t that be too traumatic for all the Jacinda and junior supporters?:D. With regards to the Democrats choice in 2020, WTF knows, especially after the Republican choice in 2016 from a pool of 15 or so candidates. I wonder if the Dems will have two tier debates like the Republicans did in 2016, one for possible winners and one for the zeros (which should be a huge group).

That’s not a marriage that will last long, I think Harry was blinded by her tv stardom, she’s by all accounts a difficult person. She has to remember she married the spare not the heir.

After the last few weeks barring some major calamity Jacinda and labour are going to walk into power next election without needing any support from anyone. National as long as they keep the odious Bridges as leader have no hope in hell of winning anything. With the amount of support Taxinda has today she should call a snap election and get herself another 3 years then it’s hello CGT, and all sorts of other nasty taxes they have brewing in the cupboard.

Just remember whats being said is in the media, so for all we know it could be, probably is cow manure or in language that I prefer bullshit.

The MSM created Jacindamania wont last long outside the beltway. For the average voting punter it will soon be back to competency issues such as the Kiwi Build program, homelessness, job growth, economic growth and spending programs. John Key had an 81% favourability post Cave Creek and the first CHC quake and then a 77% favourability post the second quake. GHWB in early 1991 had a favourability rating post GW1 of over 90% and lost the next year. Like the US in 1992 James Carville's mantra "It's the economy stupid" is the golden rule.

The girl is at present pregnant. Mood swings and all that caused by stress and hormonal imbalances. It can be acute in up to 20% of all cases.
