It would presumably be meant to look less like operation Barbarossa and more like the NATO campaign against Yugoslavia.

Not sure the Germans have the stomach for that one either. Every time they invade they have to start further west than the last time.

What I also find "ludicrous" is the idea that Russia is going to invade Europe, but for some people, and their fortune-telling capabilities, that seems to be set in stone.

You'll need to tell that to the fine folks at RTR when they publicly discuss creating a landbridge to Kaliningrad.
