Imaging making a completely ridiculous claim, posting a link to an article as proof and writing 38%, while the article says 17%, including in its headline, from half a year plus 2 days ago, and writes “according to sources”, while citing SBU and HUR through the entire article. Lloyd snd Harry could make a better argument.

Disprove it. Not looking good Vlad and he didnt even help his iranian buddy...just as he didnt help his syrian buddy...or his venezuelan buddy.

Its crazy how weak Russia is in international relations, USA basicly steamrolls them.

@Feanor, what kind of equipment Iran supplies to Russia? All I had read about lately are the ballistic missiles that we have never seen the evidence of yet and the claim has been circulating for couple of years now (?).
The recent Shahed-107 deliveries come to mind. But it's hard to be sure what else is included. What we do know is that Russia and Iran have been working to increase logistics corridors between the two countries. Iran deliveries components for many Russian systems, and is another source of artillery shells including the scarce 203mm shells used by the 2S7.

So in the event of a prolonged Iran conflict, it wouldn’t be inconceivable that deliveries could be significantly affected for a variety of reasons. It’s just not entirely clear how important those deliveries are to the Russian war effort, or how readily replacements could be procured.

There is a far bigger issue. Venezuela and Iran were Chinas largest oil suppliers. Venezuela is down and Iran too. With that Russias handler might be forced into dropping Russia.

Venezuela is down and Iran too.
What do you mean "down"?
Trump declared that China can buy as much Venezuelan oil as its wants, if China cannot buy Iranian oil, it will have to buy Russian oil.

Congratulations, you read one article. Now, "not a single Russian refining plant west of the Urals is operational" when it says "40% idle"... Maybe you rather live in your own fantasy?

Update.

This round of updates covers almost the entire month of February, sorry for the delay. Also I've had problems with VK functionality and loading posts, so you will see far fewer VK sources used. Typically the VK milinfo channel was almost duplicated by their telegram counter-part so I think we still have all the same information here.

North Sumy/Chernigov area.

Russian opeartions in this area have expanded taking the former village of Sidorovka (nothing is left there today), and Kharkovka.

Russian strikes on Usok village, northern Sumy region, allegedly targeting Ukrainian UAV storage.

Russian drone strikes on Shostka.

Sumy area.

Russian forces continue to gain ground, re-entering Kondratovka, pushing south-west of Yunakovka, and gaining ground near Alekseevka. They've also secured the area south of Varachino. In the eastern part of Sumy region Russia took the village of Pokrovka, took ground north and south-west of Grafskoe, and also advanced near Miropol'ye. At this point the not-so-recent Ukrainian counter-attacks in this area are almost completely reversed and Russia is making new gains. There is once again a threat to Sumy city, not so much from Russia taking it, the forces in the area are likely insufficient, but rather that the city be rendered effectively uninhabitable. Ukraine did manage to coutner-attack in eastern Sumy and recapture Popovka (not to be confused with Pokrovka right next to it, that one is in Russian hands).

Russian strike on a Ukrainian vehicle in Sumy region.

Battle damage in Velikaya Cherchyna, a village near Sumy city, that was hit by a Russian bomb strike. 1 civilian reported wounded.

Russia hit the San-Remo restaurant in Sumy with a Shahed strike. Presumably they thought some sort of Ukrainian military gathering was taking place.

Russian Gerber drone launching FPV drones in Sumy region.

Russian Akhmat fighters operating M-46 130mm cannons and Molniya-2 drones on the Sumy axis.

Kharkov area.

Russian forces expanded their area of control near Zelenoe, meanwhile Ukraine attacked into Vol'chye, the village, turning some of it into a no-man's land. Russian forces have also taken all of Grafskoe and the woods east of it.

Russia hits a Ukrainian howitzer, allegedly a Giatsint-B.

Russian strikes around Okhrimovka, this is north-east of Volchansk.

Russian bomb strikes on Tokarevka, west of the reservoir, near Liptsi.

Russian FPV drones are reaching the outskirts of Kharkov.

Russian drone strikes on Shevchenko Pervoe, south of Volchansk. Allegedly they're hitting a Ukrainian staging area.

Kupyansk area.

Ukraine's situation here continues to deteriorate with Russia being close to securing the area east of Kupyansk fully.. Russian forces have expanded their area of control in Petropavlovka, and Russian infiltrators are pushing further and further south, now reaching into Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, as well as Kovsharovka and Kurilovka. Russian forces are also continuing to bite off pieces of ground east of Petropavlovka, and are pretty close to connecting. Ukrainian positions in Kucherovka are almost surrounded. The situation in Kupyansk itself remains murky but north of it Russian forces have gained more ground. Near Melovoe Russian forces continue to gain ground in Chugunovka.

Russia hit a Ukrainian UGV near Kupyansk.

Russian strikes on Velikiy Burluk area, allegedly targeting a HIMARS position. But it's hard to tell what they actually hit.

Two Russian missiles with impressive accuracy landing near Sredniy Burluk. They're either the new surface-surface S-400 variant or Tornado-S.

Russian bomb strikes on Kolodeznoe, near Dvurechenskoe. Note a couple of bombs miss their targets entirely, and land in the field.

This is Russia's West group of force operating a Tor-M2. Note it says "Kharkov axis". I think this means the region not the city. It's battlegroup north that's operating on the Kharkov axis.

Russia's 288th Arty Bde operating vintage BM-27 and new Giatsint-K.

Ukrainian infantry wading across an icy river. Allegedly this is Ukrainian troops withdrawing across the Oskol, westward from the Glushkovo area.

Russian infantry in Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, and in Kurilovka. Note suriyak has this marked as a grey zone, likely based on this very video. But overall the areas of control remain unclear.

Oskol front.

Russian forces are making another attempt to collapse Ukrainian lines north of Borovoe, this time by pushing into Boguslavka from the south-east. Ukraine meanwhile is trying to take Borisova Andreevka from the south-west.

A look inside the UAV assembly team of Russia's 45th Engineers Bde, in Lugansk region.

Krasniy Liman area.

Russian forces captured some additional positions in Drobyshevo. In Karpovka Russian forces have captured the eastern part of the village, pushing Ukraine into the gully. North-east of Liman Russian forces continue to clear the grey area, eliminating remaining Ukrainian forces. East of Liman Russia forces have taken the western part of Maslyakovka again. This is like preceding a bigger push into the town itself. North-west of Dibrova Russian forces continue to advance through the forest, enveloping Krasniy Liman from the south. Overall Russian progress here remains slow, though steady. I wouldn't be surprised if the fall of Krasniy Liman will come around the same time as Russian troops make a play for Nikolaevka.

Russian bomb strike on Bul'basovka, west of Slavyansk.

Drone netting tunnels on the Izyum-Slavyansk road. This is one of two MSRs into the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk area.

Seversk-Nikolaevka axis.

Russia continues to advance in this area, having cleared the hills south of Zakotnoe are now advancing into Krivaya Luka. They've also gained ground in Reznikovka, and now hold almost all of the village. They seem to be aiming for Ray-Aleksandrovka, in conjunction with forces pushing out of the Privol'ye-Min'kovka area. This area is clearly moving at an unconfortable speed for Ukraine, and will likely require some emergency efforts by Ukraine to stabilize soon.

Russian strikes on Ukrainian vehicles around Krivaya Luka and Kaleniki. They hit a VAB, Stryker, and BMP-2.

One of the chimneys of the Slavyansk powerplant in Nikolaevka collapsed.

Druzhkovka axis.

Russian forces have advanced in this area, taking Min'kovka, Privol'ye, and entering Lipovka. They've also gained ground on the eastern shore of the canal, pushing to the north-west. Most of Nikiforovka is also in Russian hands. Russian assault teams are approaching Fedorovka Drugaya. Overall this axis of advance is pushing northward towards Ray-Aleksandrovka, where they will likely meet with Russian troops advancing out of Seversk. This will likely eventually merge into a single attempt on Nikolaevka. In fact based on the current movements it looks like they may by-pass Druzhkovka and Kramatorsk, and instead focus in Slavyansk first.

Russian drone strikes on Ukrainian vehicles in Kramatorsk.

Russian Shaheds hit Kramatorsk, targets unclear but one hit a private house.

Russian drone over Kramatorsk.

Konstantinovka area.

Inside Konstantinovka Ukraine has pushed Russian forces bacvk to the major road junction in the east even as Russian forces have pushed through the eastern dachas again. From the west and south Russian forces have gained ground around Berestok and Illinovka, and are pushing into Konstantinovka from the west. Russian forces have also taken the southern part of Stepanovka. It's strange to me that Russia isn't prioritizing advances in the area around Stepanovka more. With the strike on the dam north of the town to flood the MSR into the town, I think we can expect some sort of a general assault relatively soon.

Multiple Russian drone strike on a Ukrainian tank in Konstantinovka.

Russia hit an M113 and an FV103 in Konstantinovka.

Russian strike on a Ukrainian UGV near Rusin Yar.

Russian bomb strikes on Konstantinovka.

Russia hit a dam north-west of Konstantinovka, flooding part of the supply routes into the town.

Russian FAB-3000 and Kh-38 strikes on a couple of bridges around Konstantinovka.

Russian incendiaries landing in Konstantinovka.

Russian bomb strike on Konstantinovka took out a number of cars.

A look at the road from Konstantinovka to Druzhkovka. We have some anti-drone nets and destroyed cars.

Pokrovsk area.

West of Pokrovsk Russian forces have gained ground in the refuse area north of Kotlino. Meanwhile Ukrainian infiltrators are reported in the western part of Udachnoe. Russia has fully recaptured the pig farms north of Pokrovsk and the mining complex west of Rodinskoe is now in the grey zone. Russian forces have also taken the trench systems south of Belitskoe, and Rodisnkoe is fully in Russian hands. North of it near Dorozhnoe, Russian forces have evend out their positions and secured the rest of the rail line. In the former salient area Russian forces have taken the warehouses west of Toretskoe. It's interesting that despite the refocusing of Ukraine's efforts on Eastern Zaporozhye, we don't see a bigger attempt by Russia to advance here.

Russian drone strikes from Rubicon center on a Ukrainian AMX-10RC, in cover.

Russain FAB strikes on the north-western side of Grishino.

Russian TOS-1A fires in the Pokrovsk area.

Russian Strela-10M3 from the 74th MRBde operating near Pokrovsk.

Aerial view of the ruins of Biletskoe. The town is on the front lines, and likely the next target for Russia in this area.

Russian TOS-3 in the Pokrovsk area, from the 29th CBRN Bde.

Dnepropetrovsk axis.

Russia gained some ground in the woods west of Ivanovka and the countryside east of it. Russian forces have also captured an important defense line on the border, south of Novopodgorodnoe. Overall this section of the front line remains relatively quiet, with slow and not particularly successful Russian offensive operations.

Russia hitting a Ukrainian FrankenSAM near Voznesenskoe, Dnepropetrovsk region.

Russian drone strikes on a Ukrainian SP howitzer in Dnepropetrovsk region. It's allegedly an M109.

Ukrainian defense lines going up in Dnepropetrovsk region.

Eastern Zaporozhye.

Russia has captured Zaliznichnoe, Krinichnoe, Tsvetkovoe, and Staroukrainka. They're also pushing on Verkhnyaya Tersa and Gorka. Russian forces have also recaptured Varvarovka and Alenokonstantinovka. Priluki is either in Ukrainian hands or in the grey zone. North of there Russian forces have attacked and recaptured Kosovtsevo. Meanwhile Ukraine's developing counter-attack has forced a Russian withdrawal from the confluence of the Gaychur and Yanchur rivers, recapturing Andreevka, Bratskoe, Ostapovskoe, Gerasimovka, and Zarechnoe. On the northern side Ukraine's counter-attack seems to have run into stiff resistance after rapid initial gains in Gay, Alekseevka, Tikhoe, and Sosnovka. Ternovoe, Stepovoe, and Vishnevoe are in the grey zone. Kalinovskoe is partly in the grey zone. Otradnoe and Novoaleksandrovka were recaptured and secured by Ukraine.

Russian strike on a Ukrainian vehicle near Gulyaypole.

Russian drone strike on allegedly an M1 Abrams (hard to be sure under that hedgehog armor) near Zaliznichnoe.

Russian East MD strike on a Ukrainian BMP.

A series of strikes on Ukrainian vehicles as part of the recent counter-offensive from the northern side.

A now uncommon Russian Grad firing, eastern Zaporozhye area.

Russian Pantsyr-S of East MD with the new Gvozd' small missiles and improvised drone cages.

Zaporozhye front.

A Ukrainian counter-attack on this section of the frontline coincides with their efforts in eastern Zaporozhye. They've pushed back into Stepnogorsk and there are reports of Ukrainian infiltrators in Plavni, though allegedly they were taken out. Ukraine has also counter-attacked south-west of Pavlovka, regaining ground, and have retaken Lukyanovskoe and Novoyakovleka, while Russia resumed the attack regaining ground in Novoyakovlevka shortly thereafter.

Dnepr front.

A Russian MLRS strike hit Kherson city. Targets unclear.

Russian Scalpel drone hitting the Ukrainian powerplant in Kherson.

Black Sea/Crimea.

Ukraine striking targets in Crimea, we have a Pantsyr SAM, a Nebo-U radar and a BK-16 boat in one video, elements of an S-400 and a Pantsyr in another. The S-400 appears to be on the march. We also have footage of Ukraine hitting allegedly a decoy of a Podlyot radio and a decoy of another Nebo radar.

Russian Ka-29s hunting Ukrainian unmanned boats with gun and rocket pods. This is quite risky given Ukraine's use of AAMs on the boats.

Ukraine hit Sevastopol', killing 1 civilian. Intended targets are unclear.

Russian drone defense teams with the new Krechet sighting and information management system.

Strikes.

Russia hit Kiev. All 3 powerplants were hit, and we have some confirmation of 2 Iskander missiles getting intercepted.

Russia hit Roshen storage facilities in Yagotino, Kiev region.

Russia hit gas infrastructure targets in Chernigov region, near Nezhin, Ploskoe, and Nosovka villages.

Russia hit the Mondelez confectionary factory in Trostyanets, Sumy region.

Russia hit a substation near the village of Voronezh, Sumy region.

Russia hit a gas works in Sumy region near Malaya Pavlovka. Note this facility is known as the Kachanovskaya gas works, raising questions about the reported strike on fuel storage near Kachanovo in Poltava region. This might be double-reporting.

Russia hit allegedly a HIMARS in the Chuguev area.

Russia hit Lozovaya, Kharkov region.

Russia hit a fuel storage in the village of Kachanovo, Poltava region.

Russia hit unspecified industrial target near Mirgorod, Poltava region.

Russia hit Krivoy Rog. Some drones went down on residential buildings, actual targets unclear.

Russia hit a gas compressor station in Pavlograd.

Russia hit Zaporozhye city. Targets include the Aleksandrovskaya-1 and 2 substations and the epicenter shopping center. Links represent at least 4 separate waves of strikes. Some of the strikes were done with gliding bombs by Su-34s operating strangely close to the front line.

Russian strikes on Snegirevka substation, Nikolaev region.

Russia hit Odessa. Targets include the Tairovoe substation and the Luzovka rail station. Links represent at least 4 waves of strikes.

Russian hit Odessa region. Targets reportedly include energy infrastructure and a storage facility belonging to an energy company and the Chernomorsk port facilities.

Russia hit the Burshtyn powerplant in Ivano-Frankovsk region but it appears it's still in operating condition.

Russia hit Vinnitsa, reportedly targeting a local substation.

Russia hit Rovno, allegedly targeting a substation.

Russia hit a substation in L'vov.

A series of recent Russian strikes against locomotives in Ukraine. It's interesting that it's taken this long for Russia to start doing any sort of systematic strikes on them, and they're still relatively few and far between. So far it's more of an inconvenience rather than a systematic attempt to shut down Ukraine's rail traffic.

Some footage of Ukrainian F-16s doing drone defense.

More footage of the Ukrainian M28 Skytruck doing drone defense work.

Ukraine intercepting a Shahed with an R-60 AAM on it. In this version the AAM points backwards.

We have more evidence of Shahed-107 drones being used by Russia and they appear to be direct imports, not local variants.

Ukraine hit a Russian arsenal at Kotluban', Volgograd region with Flamingo missiles. Reportedly Russian downed 5 of 6, with the 6th one striking a warehouse.

It appears a recent Ukrainian Flamingo strike on Kapustin Yar was a near-miss.

Ukraine hit Gubakha, Perm' region, damaging a chemical plant.

Ukraine hit Volgograd, damaging some residential buildings.

Ukraine has been hammering Belgorod with drone and MLRS strikes including HIMARS, focusing on energy infrastructure and causing substantial damage to it. They hit both the power plant and a substation. There is extensive damage, and damaged from failed heating is compromising Russia's ability to repair some of it any time soon. Links represent many waves of strikes. They've also damaged plenty of civilians houses and cars.

Russian Yelka drone intercepting a Ukrainian Darts drone near Belgorod.

Ukraine hit Bryansk causing blackouts, targets unclear.

Ukraine hit Krasnodar, damaging some cars and a gas line. No info on intended targets.

Ukraine apparently hit a school in Zaporozhye region, in Vasil'yevka. No civilian casualties are reported.

Interesting bits.

A failed attempt to bring down a Russian Mi-8 by a Ukrainian drone.

Ukraine hit a rare Pantsyr variant on an MZKT chassis. I suspect this is the prototype.

There are conflicting reports regarding the possible loss of a Russian Su-34 over Zaporozhye region. Fighterbomber denies it.

It appears Ukraine lost an Mi-24 with 4 crew on board.

Ukraine's T-72AMT in service with the 22nd Mech Bde and a rare Ukrainian T-80U with the 100th Mech bde.

Ukraine's 115th TerDefBde with Maxim MMGs for drone defense on an Iveco truck.

A look at a new Ukrainian Varta armored car variant with a 30mm autocannon turret.

Ukraine's 425th Assault Rgt training on motor-bikes and ATVs.

A a rare Ukrainian Mi-8PPA variant with it's EW system installed.

It appears Ukraine has acquired at least one YH-1Y Venom helicopter.

There are reports of American and Dutch pilots flying some of their F-16s.

In an interesting recent statement Zelensky apparently said that Ukraine is recruiting 34 thousand new service members per month but can't keep up with staffing needs. An interesting admission given his own insane claims about 55k KIAs for Ukraine in the war so far.

A look at a T-72B3 converted into an improvised H-APC after losing its turret. The vehicle was immobilized and reportedly survived 50 FPV drone strikes. We can see the robust anti-drone wiring, and EW on top.

Russian T-55AM being turned into a tank shed by the 127th MRDiv.

Russia's 140th SAM Bde operating interceptor variants of the Molniya drones.

A Russian ATV with a rudimentary anti-drone cage. It doesn't seem to have helped here.

A Russian UGV that uses a European internet source.

Russian reservists training for drone defense as part of the new reservist forces.

Another KIA exchange took place with Russia returning 1000 corpses and getting back 35. The exchanges remain extremely lopsided and this is likely to continue as Russian is cleaning up the battlefields of '23 and '24 that are now under their control.

Russia and Ukraine did another POW exchange, 157 from each side, plus some civilians.

Ever heard of railways? Dunno how many tank wagons the Russians & Chinese have, but historically, railways have moved a lot of fuel.

There's also a gas pipeline, BTW, with a second due to open next year, & a new oil pipeline from western Kazakhstan. I don't know if it connects with Russian pipelines, but I know there are pipelines crossing the border.

Well, let's consider the logic here more broadly. Obviously in the specifics he's just wrong. But could there be transit bottlenecks for Russian resources to reach the Chinese market? Absolutely. But that won't get China to drop Russia. It will go on the other direction and push China to invest in Russian infrastructure for resource delivery. And China has plenty of experience doing that. This could push China to back Russia more, not less. Especially if other sources of oil become more limited.

How does one end up as a civilian in a military POW exchange?
It's an ugly Ukrainian practice thats been going on since '14. In this case these are Russian civilians that Ukraine took out of Kursk region. Either kidnapped or evacuated, depending on who you ask. Of course the fact that they weren't simply allowed to get on a bus to Belarus speaks volumes.

I think the Chinese are investing in Central Asian infrastructure, & I can certainly see them being interested in building infrastructure in Russia to facilitate raw material imports, but I wonder if there's an issue of Russian wariness of Chinese ownership or control.
