Seems Pakistan being given green light for 40 J-35, KJ-500 AWACS and also HQ-19 Air Defense Syatem. While Pakistan also got deal from Azerbaijan to acquire 40 JF-17. Well will see how India going to replying China Gen 5 Fighter, in Pakistan. I agree more likely they will increase talk with Russia for Su-57.

HQ-19 acquisition would be interesting. Since 1998 Pakistan has actively advocated against ABM systems in South Asia, and now Pakistan has an offer for a system that also doubles up as an ASAT.
K-500 offer, though not surprising, was unexpected. Pakistan has 9 very capable SAAB Erieye systems but needs replacement for the 3 older ZDK-03 AEW&C. I think the overall number of AEW&C will come up to 12 to 15 systems, which is very good for a country of Pakistan's size.
USA is already stipulating conditions to India, even before it begins contemplating American weapons, especially F-35. On the other hand, there are rumours that Russia is offering Su-57 with ToT and source codes. TBH, source code thing feels like an excuse for losing Rafales. I don't think it will make a major difference if Russia provides India with Su-57 source code or not. However, it does sweeten the pot.
