Interesting article on a rapid Ukrainian ballistic missile development. Nothing like a war to realize new ideas and approaches in developing urgently needed kit. Hopefully Ukrainian allies are paying attention.

Ukraine built ballistic missile in just over two years

It is not of course developed in just two years. The technology and expertise doesn't come from nowhere, both Tsyklon and Zenit were made in Ukraine for decades.

Tsyklon for example was designed by the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau and manufactured by Yuzhmash (both in Dnipropetrovsk). The control system was designed at NPO Electropribor.
