Kim asside inspecting the Tank also inspecting new batch MLRS. Bemil and ROK source seems believe DPRK new Tank got much needed tech from Russia. I suspect they also got similar Chinese tech supporting them. Some source claim this M2020 already got official name Cheonma 2.

Chinese Norinco offer new turrets for T72 above users. This upgrade package seems being offer for Global South T72 users to have more modern turret, but still with their own existing hull.

Put it in here not in Indonesia or Turkiye threads as not clear yet whose going to use this version. This Fire Support and Recce Vehiche (FSRV) use 30mm chain gun turret instead 105mm canon turret of Kaplan/Harimau Medium Tank. Whilw the hull retain similarities with MT version.

EXOR sold Iveco Defense Vehicles to Leonardo-Rheinmetall for 1.7 Billion euros and Iveco Commercial Vehicles to TATA for 3.8 Billion euros.

Rheinmetall is stating it is in "talks" with Leonardo on transferring Iveco Defense to its purview within the joint venture. That's provided it's approved by authorities, which isn't really a given considering RMMV's already substantial market share on military trucks and certain voices in the Italian government calling for Iveco Defense to remain Italian-controlled.

The Iveco Commercial Vehicles sale to Tata is only for 27.1% of the shares btw, the Agnellis don't own the rest. Getting rid of the defense branch was a precondition for this deal. Tata is planning to also buy out shares on the market significantly under current trade value.

Thai Navy (for their Marines) recieved first Battery of Self Propelled 155 gun, under licens from Israel Elbit. Basically it is under licenses ATMOS.

Czechoslovak Group (CSG) got contract of USD 2.5 bio from "customers" in Southeast Asia, for multilayer air defense system. This is seems additional deal as previously already got MRAD (medium range air defense system) from "a customer" in the region. Mind they change from plural to single term when talking from current to previous customer.

Since no official information yet on what is the system and whose the customer is or are, for this land base air defense system. I put it on International Army Thread.

A Self Defense Force T-10 suffered an explosion during routine live fire exercise that caused the death of the tank commander, gunner and range safety officer. The driver was serious injured.

The cause was denotation of the 120mm within the turret. I read some reports (unconfirmed) to suggest that they were attempting to extract a dud round from the breech when it exploded.

DPRK shown that their new 155mm self propelled gun already operasional. This is the move also from 152mm to 155mm. Perhaps this is also why they are shipping more 152mm ammo and guns to booster Russia inventory. Aside to increase defense Co-op with Russia, also begining to prepared some inventory shifting toward new calibre that also used by PLAN newer guns.

K9 is one of the most prolific and modern SPH in the world. It’s basically the NATO standard at this point having trounced European and American options in multiple competitions with armies who demanded a very high standard. Farther developed A1 soon A2 are even harder to beat.
Particularly the latter which has a full automatic loader system enabling rapid deployment engagement and departure, a major advantage in the drone and counter battery era. This system would have a very high hurdle to climb to meet K9.
North Korea according to the report claims that the North Korean system has a range of greater than 60km. That is possible but with two caveats. First Rocket assisted shells need only apply. Second at that range, it’s going to need either a fixed unhardened target or the assist of an ISR asset. Preferably with course correction capabilities in the shell.
