San Francisco Bay, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2004) – The guided missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92), foreground, and guided missile frigate USS Jarrett (FFG 33) sail into San Francisco Bay at the start of the “Parade of Ships,” the official kick off of the 24th annual San Francisco Fleet Week. Canadian and U.S. ships sailed into the San Francisco Bay area to celebrate Fleet Week. San Francisco Fleet Week is a unique opportunity to share with the American public what today’s sea services are all about.
