Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, Ingalls Operations, Pascagoula, MS, (Apr. 19, 2002) â The guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) heads out to sea to rejoin the U.S. Navy fleet, following 14 months of repairs after a terrorist bomb blew a hole in the port side of the ship while refueling in the port city of Aden, Yemen, on Oct. 12, 2000, killing 17 sailors.
