(November 21st, 1997) Northern Persian Gulf. . . .A Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB), makes a pass by the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65). The ship, home ported in San Diego, California , is currently deployed with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) battle group under the U.S. Navyâs Fifth Fleet.
