Norfolk, Va. (June 23, 2006) â The amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) prepares to moor at Naval Station Norfolk. Bataan participated in the Dutch-led exercise joint Caribbean Lion 2006, focusing on enhancing relationships with partner nations and improving operational readiness during the three-week exercise.
