US Navy Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat

Sailors and Coast Guardsmen from the littoral combat ship USS Freedom LCS 1 use a rigid-hull inflatable boat to retrieve bales of cocaine dumped overboard by a “go-fast” small boat that Freedom intercepted during counter-illicit trafficking operations in the U.S. 4th Fleet area of focus. Freedom recovered a total of 2¼ tons of cocaine from the southern Caribbean Sea. U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Ed Early.
