ARABIAN SEA (Feb. 2, 2011) An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 116, embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) is in flight. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
