Pfc. Andrew Nadolski from 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, Echo Company wears the residue of a simulated improvised explosive device (IED) which left him Killed In Action (KIA) during a Military Operation in Urban Terrain (MOUT) exercise at Combined Training Facility as part of Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2006. Eight nations are participating in RIMPAC, the world's largest biennial maritime exercise. Conducted in the waters off Hawaii, RIMPAC brings together military forces from Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
