F-18 aerial maneuvers - Blue Angels, US Navy

San Francisco, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2003) -- The Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, fly a double Farvel maneuver as they pass by Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay during Fleet Week 2003. This marks the 22nd year of Navy participation. The celebration is held at Fisherman’s Wharf. More than 2,500 Sailors, the Blue Angels and ships USS Cleveland (LPD 7), USS Hopper (DDG 70), USS Thach (FFG 43), USS Shiloh (CG 67), USS Mobile Bay (CG 53)are taking part.
