The temperature in the depth of the Tianshan Mountains in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region dropped sharply to －32℃ on Jan. 11, 2011, but the Biedieli Frontier Defense Company of a frontier defense regiment under the Xinjiang Military Area Command did not suspend its border patrol due to the freezing cold.
