Mubarek Military City, Egypt (Sept. 13, 2005) – U.S. Marines assigned to the Expeditionary Strike Group One, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) disembark a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) from the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1). The Marines are preparing for the upcoming amphibious assault landing demonstration for “Bright Star”, a multinational exercise held every two years in Egypt.
