USS RONALD REAGAN, At sea (June 20, 2006) -- An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Stingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron One One Three (VFA-113) catapults past a group of USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) Sailors during Valiant Shield flight operations. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is currently participating in Valiant Shield 2006, a major military exercise off the coast of Guam involving 28 naval vessels including three carrier strike groups. Approximately 290 aircraft and more than 20,000 service members for the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard are taking part in the exercise.
