I am certain that some possible naval opponents of the US had a sinking feeling when reading this story.
Now if there could be standoff delivery of mixed 'dumb' bottom minds and perhaps some captor mines into a containment area. Say right into the shipping lanes into/out of a hostile harbour. Especially if mines could be fitted with anti-tamper devices and the ability to broadcast a signal to advise if the anti-tamper device is triggered.
