When do u think PLAN will have an aircraft carrier?

:help im just wondering w/ all the new ships the PLAN are making, why aren't they making an aircraft carrier?
Is it b/c thye dont have the technology?
Or the government won't let them build it for some reasons........?

PLAN will have at some point of time. Considering China neglects her navy compared to the army and airforce, it'll be hard to say when she'll have one. I doubt China lacks technology to build an AC, or the funds .. maybe AC's just don't suit the Chinese doctrine,

Two things preventing China from building a carrier at this point

1. Lack of capable surface and SSN fleet to escort the carrier.

2. China does not want to appear as a threat to South Asia at this point as they are still developing.

I believe that AC will be introduced into PLAN someday, but I don't see it happening within a decade.

Priority has all given to the PLAN and submarine is in the top list.The PLAN believes submarine will be the best shot to sink USN carrier.Look at the number of Type 52B destroyer and C destroyer,they r building.7 for each type and build at an alarming rate.When the recent Yuan class sub,also suggest sub is build at fast pace. More maybe building in the process as the US intel only find out Yuan when it was towed out of the shipyard! A carrier now would be useless for the PLAN, first of all, their surface combatant's ability are simply not good enough to protect themselves in intense battles let alone protect another ship twice their size;
also, a carrier would be a sign is threatening neightbour country, and that is not what the PRC want other countries to see them as.
Their primary target currently is Taiwan, a midget island filled with Chinese traitors and SU-30's can reach it within 30 mins, so who the ---- would need a carrier?

Of course there will be sacrifices by the chinese. but i think it will be number that will overwhelm the US fleet. So both will suffer in a clash between the two navies.

dude i am merely giving a possiblity and not confirming that what i said would really happen. of course i know that the US has hunterkillers and destroyers and more to protect their carrier. My point is that a large number of chinese vessels can overwhelm them. the US may have the first shot and sink many chinese vessels but china will also respond and the possiblity of hitting the US fleets is still there and not eliminated.

well china will probably acquire an a/c far into the century and by then the a/c will look and have a completely different mission in naval warfare as the objectives and strategies used will evolve, in accordane with teh changing circumstances, these circumstances we cant perdict with certainty

Well that's purely ignorance and arrogance about the "PLAN can't sink USN carriers".
If you're only talking about the US 7th fleets vs PLAN's East fleet and airforce in that area (which includes SU-30MKK/2), then I don't think the 7th fleet have much chance in surviving at all if the PLAN are ready (e.g Submarines ambushing them), although the East fleet wouldn't have much left by the time they destroyed the 7th fleet. The PLAN can send reinforcements from the North and South fleet, but then the other 10 of the US carrier battle groups would be on its way and the PLAN probably won't exist at all after the battle. LOL

and many analysts it will be this way for the next few decades

Idk a battle group of 2~4 Akula SSN, 1 Kreml class Aircraft Carrier Cruiser (armed with SU-27K, Yak-41M, Ka-27-LD), 1~2 Kirov class Guided Missile Cruiser, 2~4 Sovremenny class Guided Missile Destroyer, and Neustrashimy class FFG.
